It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwen Carolyn Bohanon of Hoboken, Georgia, who passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gwen Carolyn Bohanon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olen Jacobs and Lois Campbell Jacobs; her brother Rony Jacobs; her brother-in-law Ron Baker; and her nephew Daryl Jacobs.
She is survived by: her daughter Bridgett Sheffield (Paul) of Valdosta; her grandson Gabriel; her siblings, Rita Baker of Warner Robins and Gary Jacobs (Freida) of Waycross; and her sister-in-law Lisa Jacobs of Alma. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and close cousins and very close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hoboken Baptist Church; Wednesday Missions Supper, or Brantley County Friends of the Library.
