She was predeceased by: her parents, James Emmitt Roberson and Mildred Viola Wilson Roberson; her former husband Franklin Earl Corbitt; her husband James Revis Edwards; her son Richard Ashby; her grandchildren, Ricky, Chris, Stacy Ashby, Adam Larson, Franklin Crews and Jamie Carmichael; and her siblings, Jackie Roberson, J. R. Wilson, Sammy Roberson, Franklin Roberson, Delores King and Paulette Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Julian Earl Corbitt (Sandy) of Waycross, Jimmy D. Corbitt, Sr. of Waycross, James Edwards of Folkston, Randy Edwards (Judy) of Hoboken, J. W. Edwards (Lynn) of Nahunta, Brenda Sue Chancey of Folkston, Bobbie Jean Carmichael (Allen) of Dawson, GA, Shirley Thornton (Ted) of Screven, Rosa Dubose (Darrell) of Florida Villages, FL. and Sharon Ashby (Dave) of St. Cloud, FL.; her sister-in-law Gene Roberson (Doris) of Waycross; and her sister Janice Dowling (Virgil) of Hoboken. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; 28 great great grandchildren; brother.
