With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Griffin of Hoboken, Georgia, who passed away on June 25, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Candacy Brooks and William Hendry Brooks; her husband Charlie Griffin; her stepdaughter Kathy Waters; and her sisters, Sadie Mae Gunter, Alice Fairbanks and Billie Jean Burkes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Dixon (Gary) of Waycross and Sandra Moody of Hoboken; her grandchildren, Donna Farley, Serina Dixon, Lee Babcock and Amy Yawn; her stepson Randy Griffin; and her sisters, Faye Burkes, Dorothy Fairbanks, Patricia Harris and Juanita Card. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; nine great great-grandchildren; 21 step great-grandchildren; three step great great-grandchildren.
