He was predeceased by: his father Ovid Carl Hobbs; his wife Phyllis Hobbs; his sister Mary Van Parson; and his nephew Robert Parson. He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Steadman Hobbs; his children, Wade Donaldson Hobbs Jr. and Michelle Ansley (Kevin); his stepson Hank Harvey; and his former wife Nancy Thompson. He is also survived by his niece and nephew, great nieces and nephews, and many great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Mr. Hobbs honor towards the National Organization of Rare Diseases (NORD).
