He is survived by: his mother Mary Porterfield; his girlfriend Kari Simmons; his children, Vince Merritt Jr., Robby Daniels (Ashley), Jennifer Merritt, Chrissy Daniel (Sabrina) and Jasmine Daniel; and his brother Thomas Porterfield (Rebecca). He is also survived by sister; Teresa Parish, and nine grandchildren.
