He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Austin. He is survived by: his children, Mark Austin, Michael Austin (Wanda) and Melanie Sewell (Rick); his granddaughters, Tara Taber (Sean), Brooke Turner (Blake), Reagan Sewell and Riley Sewell; and his great grandchildren, Austin Moore, Mason Turner and Ashton Taber.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Narroway Baptist Church (631 Narroway Church Cir, Dallas, GA 30132).
