He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ruel Hester and Christine Long Hester; and his sister Louise Hester. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hester; his children, Rhonda Hester of Alpharetta, Amy Delaney (Robb) of Hiram, Karen Morris of Hiram, Holly Newsom (Travis) of Hiram, Corey Hester (Elizabeth) of Hiram and Brianna Connor (Kristian) of Kennesaw; and his brother Billy Hester. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Fur Kids Cat Rescue of Atlanta.
