He is survived by: his wife Diana Burgess; his children, Lisa Connelly (Bernie), Kimberly Posey (Scott), Ronnie Burgess Jr. (Shannon) and Crystal Jarrard; his siblings, Phillip Burgess (Vickie), Sandra Marks (Lee) and Charlotte McBurnett; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Allen, Andrew Day (Katlyn), Tobee Jefferson (Sarah), Trey Jefferson, Amber Burgess, Lindsey Nelson (Sean), Lisa Topham (Kyle), Lara Masters (Matt), Brian Connelly (Sheila), Elizabeth Posey, Alexis Posey and Luke McClure.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home & Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141-1827). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sam Clark Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141-1827). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 4:15 PM at the Paulding Memorial Gardens (3566 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy, Hiram, GA 30141).
