She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Abernathy and Kate Abernathy; her husband Willis "Billy" Denton; her son Michael Denton; her grandson Billy Wayne Denton; and her siblings, Charlie, Grady, James, Lawrence, Richard, Roy, Sammy, Junior, Nelli Bell, Flora and Willene.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Newman (Sammy); her siblings, Billy, Betty Sue, Helen and Doris; her grandchildren, Shannon Newman, Rita Silvers, Alissa Valazquez and Dana Hults; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Skyler, Cole, Halyn, Nylah, Jadah, Samual, Alainah, Justice and Janna.
