It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Sue Stamps (Hiram, Georgia), who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Sue Stamps to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Leatherwood Sr. and Nona Saffer Berry; her husband Harry Durwood Stamps Jr.; and her siblings, William Earl Leatherwood Jr. and Margaret Wachtel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jana Barker (Paul), Amy Swicord (Mark) and Laura Watson (Chris); and her grandchildren, Wesley Walraven, CJ Braash, Akasha Watson, Evan Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Alex Taylor and Rachel Swicord. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 concerns.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Mrs. Stamps honor for Alzheimer's or Dementia Association.
