She was predeceased by: her father Reverend Claude Reeves; her husband Lee McGarity; and her brothers, Bobby Reeves, Junior Reeves and Hugh Reeves.

She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Sutton (Wade), Leighanne Plemons (Jim) and Bryan McGarity (Shannon); her sister Carolyn Wills (Norman); her grandchildren, Heather Gribben (Tim), Kyle Sutton, Kristen Huckeba (Ben) and Jade Goin (Clay); and her great grandchildren, Jackson Gribben, Tucker Gribben, Cooper Gribben, Millie Gribben, Luelle Huckeba, Lauralei "Lettie" Huckeba, Kaiden Goin, Damon Goin and Aria Goin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Margaret's honor towards the Special Olympics.
