She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Atcheson; her husband Edwin B. Jack Tibbitts; her siblings, Henry Atcheson, Elberta Bone (Newell Durham), Kate Kennedy (Francis McMichen) and Mildred Smith; and her sons-in-law, Bill Allen and Richard Rainey.
She is survived by: her mother Mattie Atcheson; her children, Pat Allen, Carolyn Rainey and Ted Tibbitts; and her grandchildren, Tracey Griffin (Rudy) and Chris Tibbitts (Paige). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
