She is survived by: her husband Arthur Hitchcock; her children, Matthew Hitchcock and Nicole Hitchcock Rice (James); her grandchildren, Grady Hitchcock, Arabella Rice, Blakely Rice and Cashton Rice; her sister Sherron Carter; and her nieces and nephews, Jeremy Carter, Shannon Carter and Justin Curfman.
