He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Frank Ellis Sr.; his wife Carolyn Ellis; and his son Kerry Lance Ellis. He is survived by: his brother Jerry Ellis; his children, Sundi Ellis Carter (Greg), Brandon Ellis (Angie) and Chad Ellis; his sister Jeanette Pratt; his grandchildren, Ashley Francis (Jerry), Jessica Ellis, Emily Marek (Josh) and Ava Ellis; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Francis, Amelia Francis, Adalie Francis and Sadie Marek.
