He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carlton Ragsdale and Jessie Louise Bone Ragsdale; his sister Rosemary Ragsdale; his son Carlton "Kenny" Ragsdale Jr.; his grandson Jeremy Ragsdale; and his nephew Shane Taft.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ragsdale; his daughters, Kristy Zazverskey (Kyle), Kimberly Stover (Jonathan), Angela Southerland (Gary) and Tammy Jones (Rick); his grandchildren, Deidre Elrod (Charlie), Megan Bland, Morgan Smith, Logan Smith, Colton Zazverskey, Anthony Chumley and Benjamin Chumley; his great grandchildren, Layla Elrod and Dylan Bland; and his siblings, Dale Ragsdale (Sarah), Tim Ragsdale (Judy), Carl Ragsdale (Beatrice), Russ Ragsdale (Sheila) and Rosalyn Wesson (Scott).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home & Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
