He was predeceased by: his father Bernarr Rakestraw Sr.; and his brother Bernarr Rakestraw Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Stephanie Rakestraw; his wife Lauri Rakestraw; his children, Tristan Rakestraw and Kyra Rakestraw; his sisters, Denise Griffin (Allan) and Darlene Golden (Steve); his parents-in-law, Beth and Johnny Barron; his sister-in-law Kelli Jackson (Billy); and his niece Natalie Coolidge. He is also survived by many cousins, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to North Paulding Youth Football Program. All donations need to go to Craig Lester and his address is 175 Thomas Road Dallas, Ga. 30132.
