He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Holland and Ella Holland (Walker); his sister Margene Harris; and his close friend Dale Welch. He is survived by: his wife Bertie Holland; his children, James R. Holland (Kirsten) and Amanda Holland (Brent Womack); his sister Glenda Lindsey; his grandchildren, James N. Holland, Slayton Holland, Brianna Holland and Holly Godsey (Joseph); and his great grandchildren, Lyric, Rhythm, Davion and James B.. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in James' honor towards the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital.
