He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Maddox; his children, Andrew Maddox (Jeannine), Katie Maddox and Derek Maddox; and his sisters, Lillie Barber, Martha Maddox and Cindy Taylor. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Gerald's honor towards the American Heart Association.
