He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Palmer and Annie Cohran Palmer; his sons, Eddie Palmer and Tony Wigley; and his siblings, Lucille Palmer Holmes, Doris "Dot" Bragg Washington, Ruth Palmer Clark, Irb Palmer, John Palmer, Bill Palmer and Joe Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Frey Palmer; his children, Leann Wigley and Jeff Palmer (Renay); and his grandchildren, Mona Palmer, Scott Palmer, Jesse Wigley-Pervel, Robert Wigley, Chad Wigley and Brenton Wigley. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sam Clark Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). The inurnment was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the New Hope Cemetery (5782 Old Cartersville Rd, Dallas, GA 30132).
