He is survived by: his father Ronald Kaulen; his pets, Coco and Hersey; his wife Susan Kaulen; his sons, Rodney Brooks (Kristin) of Tampa, FL and Michael J Brooks of Myrtle Beach, SC; his siblings, Steven Broten (Rosalie) of St. Petersburg, FL, Carolyn Bielecki (Steve) of Manteno, IL and Kris Kirchner (Marty) of Essex, IL; his grandchildren, Michael Brooks, Aiden Brooks, Olivia Brooks and Jack Brooks; his nieces and nephews, Catie Parrish, Carly Jean Bielecki, Stevie Bielecki, Krystle Carpenter and Kayla Kirchner; and also, Sparrow and Calypso.
