With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Sells of Hiram, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dorothy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dorothy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Dickson and Gwendolyn Dickson; her husband Jerry Sells; and her daughter Sheryl Sells. She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Sells of Decatur and Lori Williams (Charles); and her grandsons, Bryce and Brandon Williams.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Centennial Baptist Church (5321 Brownwood Rd, Rutledge, GA 30663). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
