He was predeceased by: his father Ed Shellhorse; his wife Evelyn Shellhorse; his sons, David Barton Shellhorse and Gregory Hagerty; and his siblings, Howard Shellhorse, Myers Shellhorse, Sue Johnson, Martha Hobbs and Ann Bradley.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Lana Baxter (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Jordan and Huntley Baxter; and his daughters, Debbie Langley and Phyliss Kendall. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
