She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Burdett and Daisy Scott Burdett; and her son Eric Welch. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Welch Sr.; and her children, Dean Welch Jr. (Judy), William Welch (Renee), Wayne Welch (Patty), Lori Locklear (Loyd) and Stephanie Whitney (Mark). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
