She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Earl and Madeline Tiller Shive; her former husband Spurgeon Anderson; and her husband J. Leroy Smith. She is survived by: her children, Valary Dreyer (Russell) of Charleston, SC, Emory Anderson (Sherry) of Elberton, GA. and Jamey Smith (Heather); her granddaughters, Tammy Clark (Buddy) and Bonnie Dunn (Russell); her brothers, Edwin Shive (Joan) of Elberton, GA and Danny Shive (Lanie) of Greenville, NC; her grandchildren, Courtney Clark, Justin Anderson, Anderson Dreyer, Garrett Anderson, Kaitlyn Smith, Ben Dreyer, Caden Anderson and Brooklyn Smith; and her great grandchild Benton Davis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hiram First Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Camp Glisson NGCRM Campership Fund* (a North Georgia Conference Methodist Youth Camp).
