He was predeceased by: his parents, J. A. Dobbins and Eunice Garmon Dobbins; his wife Mary Ellen Parr Dobbins; and his sister Doris Dobbins Davis. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Payne (Ed) and Patti Dobbins; his grandchildren, Kristi Snead (Brian), Craig Payne (Ticia), Brian Williams and Tara Holley (MM); and his great grandchildren, Jackson Payne, Sophia Snead, Jocelyn Garza, David Snead and Spencer Payne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
