She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Lee and Alma Jane Griffin; her husband Luke Jackson Spence Sr.; her son Luke Jackson "Jackie" Spence Jr.; her grandson Luke James Spence; and her brothers, Leon Griffin and Denver Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Webb (Mike), Thomas "Keith" Spence, Gregory Spence (Robyn), Brian Spence (Mindi) and Lisa Johnson (Scott); her sister Louise Anderson; and her grandchildren, Christy Rodgers, Lance Price, Jodi Price, Misty Duren, Justin Spence, Bobbi Spence, Michael Rega, Sidney Johnson and Spencer Johnson. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
