She is survived by: her husband William Taylor Phillips; her children, Deborah Andersen (Michael), Karen Alsobrook (Dennis), Kyle Phillips (Sandy), Jon Austin Phillips (Kristin) and Beth Rains (Troy); her grandchildren, Noah Phillips, Kyle Phillips, Taylor Pruitt, Amos Phillips, Matthew Andersen, Audrey Braswell, Miranda Dixon and Lauren Harding; and her siblings, Elaine Gibson and Starlyn Austin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home & Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Georgia Baptist Church (6092 Mulberry Rock Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church Cemetery (3685 Nebo Rd, Dallas, GA 30157).
