She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Earl (Nina Graham), Bernard James, Owusu Hodari (Johari), Ronald Leon (Cynthia) and Paul (Lynn); and her grandchildren, Shari, Derrick, Ann Marie, Chini, Ronnie, Sukari, Kim, Ibn, Omari, Shomari, Walter, Teule, Stefanie, Halili, Evelyn and Jomyron (Talon). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
