We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2023, at the age of 90, Ann Elizabeth Claxton (Hiram, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Wade Jefferson Holder; and her brothers, Edward Holder and William Holder. She is survived by: her husband A. B. Claxton Jr.; her daughter Mona Claxton Irvin; her sister Alice Holder Patterson; and her granddaughters, Rachel Irvin and Leah Irvin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Claxton's honors towards the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
