He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwyn "Nubbin" Mobley and Addie Wells Mobley; and his siblings, Everette "Bullet" Mobley and Freida Mobley Bradham. He is survived by: his sisters, Carolyn Wilson (Bob), Ann Rowe (Jimmy) and Anet Owens (Roy); his children, Alsennia Strickland (Richard), William "Arley" Mobley II and Jennifer Locke (Robert); his grandchildren, Jesse, Marie, Shawn, Haley and Caleb; and his close friend Wanda Swindell. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home (308 W Oglethorpe Hwy, Hinesville, GA 31313). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
