He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Russell Wells and Willie Lee Salter Wells; his spouse Latrelle Middleton; his children, John Wesley Wells, Ralph Issac Wells and Penny Wells; and his brother Eugene Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Wells (Linda) and Suzanne Wells Hunt (Tommy); his sister Myrtice Edwards of Hinesville; and his grandchildren, Amy Jaeger (Ben), Jessica Woods, James Penley (Kaitlin), Stephanie Beaudry, Cole Hunt, Klein Hunt, Krews Hunt, Sean Burbano (Kim) and Michael Burbano. He is also survived by his 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Regency Southern Care Hospice.
