He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Kim Hill Richmond Hill (Matt) and Josh Wheeler Midway (Christi); his grandchildren, Gage Hill (Kara), Allie Hill, Aidan Wheeler, Ivey Wheeler and Olivia Wheeler; his great grandchild Charlotte; his sisters, Suzette Simpson and Trisha Wheeler; his sister-in-law Martha Wheeler; and his nieces and nephews, Alan Dasher (Deanna), Amy Simpson, Jay Simpson, Steven Simpson, Randy Wheeler, Leslie Wheeler, Kacey Wheeler Howard, Robbie Howard, Mandy Barnhart (Jamie) and Jimbo McCullough (Mary).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Calendar Carter Funeral Home (308 W Oglethorpe Hwy, Hinesville, GA 31313). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar First Baptist Church of Hinesville (220 Memorial Dr, Hinesville, GA 31313).
