She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Thomas and Johnnie Mae Thomas; and her husband Johnny Lee Smith. She is survived by: her son Corey E. Odom (Shana); her grandchildren, Corrick, Michael, Johnny Odom, Phillip Gillis of Hinesville, Dominic and Destinee Russell of Hinesville; and her siblings, Mary Burrell, Charlene Hall (George), Patricia Phipps (Jim), Emma Sue Williams, Lewis Nolen and Michael Thomas (Pamela).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dorchester Funeral Home (7842 E Oglethorpe Hwy, Midway, GA 31320). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church (124 Rebecca St, Hinesville, GA 31313).
