He was predeceased by: his sister Mary White. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Everett of Virginia; his children, Robert M. Dorsey Jr., Lawrence P. Dorsey and Pamela M. Funke; his grandchildren, Joshua T. Funke and Cathryn M. Funke; his great grandchildren, Sophie M. Folmar and Phoenix A. Folmar; and his siblings, Marjorie Griffith, Steve Dorsey and Hugh Dorsey. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
