He is survived by: his wife Joann Cobb Schroeder of Hinesville; his children, Marietta (Heinz Brandt), Germany, Molly Schroeder of Salinas, CA, Lisa (David Turner), Georgiann Hall of Hinesville, Emily (Donnie Hunt), Richard, Jr. (Pamela Schroeder), Thomas (Stephanie Schroeder) and John Hall of Bloomingdale; his sister Patti; his brother-in-law Jeff Schaeffer of Anamosa, IA; and his brothers, Bill (Shirley Schroeder) and Randall West of Maquoketa, IA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
