It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene N. Thornton of Hinesville, Georgia, who passed away on October 6, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Marvin Nettles and Elizabeth M. Nettles of Ridgeland, SC; and her husband Dale Thornton. She is survived by: her brother Eugene Nettles (Nancy) of Spartanburg, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Reese of Ridgeland, SC and Teresa Fowler (Harold) of Palm Coast, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
