Wright of Hinesville, GA and Michelle Taylor (Walter) of Hinesville, GA; his uncle Sammie Averett of Savannah, GA; his aunts, Clara Roundtree (Edward) of Miami, FL, Berdie B. Webb of Atlantic City, NJ, Mary B. Webb of Pembroke, GA and Berta M. Bacon of Walthourville, GA; and his close friend Cathy Winn. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
