He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawton Sr. Shuman and Carrie Rogers Shuman; his wife Marguerite J. Goodyear Shuman; and his brothers, Cleon, Leonard, Herman and Ward Shuman.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Miller (Murray) of Canada, Gary Shuman (Win) of Savannah and Damon Shuman (Karen) of Hinesville; and his brother Robert Shuman (Glenda) of Collins. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
