It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen McLaurin of Hinesville, Georgia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on October 6, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glendale Alexander Hicks of Kannapolis and Inmond Stanley Hicks; her children, Daryl Alexander of Lanham, MD, Edward McLaurin and Tina McLaurin of Waldorf, MD; her grandson Liam McLaurin; and her siblings, Geraldine Pringle of Mayesville, SC, Laura Carson of Philadelphia, PA, Linda Hicks of Lanham, MD, Rovenia Turner of Philadelphia, PA, Stephanie Hicks of Lanham, MD, Bruce Hicks of Lanham, MD and Inmond Hicks, Jr. of Rockledge, FL. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
