In the sacred silence of farewell, Jonathan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his wife Gina Paulus of Hinesville; his children, Samantha Casper of Guyton, Elizabeth Lewis of Gloversville, NY and Michael Borjas (Stephanie) of Columbia, SC; his parents, John Paulus and Linda Paulus of Ludowici; his sisters, Martha Kempton (Michael) of Clearwater, FL, Melissa Jones of Miami, FL and Kimberly Paulus of Mechanicsburg, PA; and his grandchildren, Evan Martin and Elena Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Howard Funeral Home (57 Oak St, Ludowici, GA 31316). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
