He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Blanton and Beulah Mae Metts Blanton. He is survived by: his siblings, Elbert, Jr., Curtis, Arnie, Vernon and Mezell Floyd; his children, Steve Blanton and Tammy Black; and his sister Bevy Fennell. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
