She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Abbott Sr.; her sons, John W. Abbott Jr. and Timothy A. Abbott; and her siblings, Fredrick Cook, Franklin Cook and Mary Catherine Cook Crossley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Dykes (Don) and Penny Cox (Rodger); her grandchildren, Leah Gumataotao (Vince), Ashley Dickerson (Eric), Brittny Hilton, Daniel Hilton, Zachary Dykes and Dale Cox; and her sister Margaret Cook Brooks (Max).
