He was predeceased by: his parents, George Borchers and Odelia Borchers (Kohls); his wife Nancy Stewart; and his siblings-in-law, Josie Borchers and Thomas Stewart.
He is survived by: his daughter Georgina Lane (Andrew Burwell) of Hinesville, GA; his grandchildren, Morgan Lane (Michael Hogsett) of Alvada, Madison Gomes (Christian) of Hinesville and Katherine Lane (Fig) of Hinesville; his great grandchild Theodore Hogsett; and his siblings, John Borchers, Mary Yant (Don) and Katie Puglise (Michael).
Family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Putnam County Cancer Assistance Program.
