She was predeceased by: her parents, Ridgeway Smith and Romena Shipman Smith; and her brother James Jerome Smith. She is survived by: her husband Walter L. Taylor; her daughter Deitrah Joye Taylor of Perry; her sibling Hinesville; her aunts, Edna Mae Miller and Johnnie Mae Miller; and her nieces and nephews, Nicky Smith, LaRay Gladney and Shane Smith.
