He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elton Elliott Thompson Sr. and Ruby Robertson Thompson of Kelleytown; his wife Evelyn Elaine Dillingham Thompson; his brothers, Robert "Bobby" Thompson and Hugh "Hootie" Thompson; his son E. Elliott Thompson III; his daughter-in-law Myra Thompson of Lilburn, GA; his grandsons, Jordan Thompson of Miami, FL, Drew Thompson of Atlanta, GA and Ben Thompson of Huntsville, AL; and his sister Janice Cunningham of Freehold, NJ. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
