He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ivey Varnedoe Sr. and Kathleen Stafford Varnedoe. He is survived by: his wife Mary Carter Varnedoe; his children, Hazel Varnedoe Margelli (Dan), David Stafford Varnedoe, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Carl Robert Varnedoe (Christina); and his grandchildren, Jack, Eliza, Jenna Margelli, Mary Mobley, Stafford Varnedoe, Carter and Charlton Varnedoe. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
