With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles William Carroll of Hinesville, Georgia, born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on June 17, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Carroll and Pauline Carroll; his wife Janet Sue Carroll; and his siblings, Glen Dubbie Duncan, Sharon Howell, Sarah Swanner and Frank Carroll.
He is survived by: his children, Iris Trinidad (Ed Trinidad), Janet Carroll Delk (Tim Guyre), Amanda Carroll of Charles and Liv Carroll; his grandchildren, Michael Carroll, Joshua Sibert, Dustin Turner, Daniel Delk, Dalton Delk, Cheyenne Carroll, Cassie Carroll, Joshua Trinidad, Steven Mashburn, Jonathan Hatt and Andrew Lyons; and his siblings, Iris, Ray, Wanda, Fred, James, DeRhonda, Betty, Linda Jo and Carol. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was a two-time veteran of the Vietnam war, recalling stories of this time in his life from the time he came home until the end of his fight with Alzheimer's and dementia.
