He was predeceased by: his father Charles James, Sr.; his grandparents, June B., Florine Edmonds, Murray Sr. and Virginia Chapman James; and his sister Virginia James.
He is survived by: his mother Ernestine Edmonds James (Alberta Cynthia Woodhouse) of Columbia, SC; his children, Nicole James, Corey James of Hinesville, GA. and Edward James of Hinesville, GA.; his siblings, Vivian Allen (David) of Columbia, SC, Charles James, Jr. (Edna) of Virginia and William James of Minot, ND.; and his aunt Evelyn Edmonds of Columbia, SC.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
