He was predeceased by: his parents, Lovett Cuthbert Skinner and Eliza Mae Smith Skinner of Hiltonia; and his siblings, Lovett Skinner of Yuma, Nellie Counts, Ellen Owens of Sylvania, Nira Chance of Millen and Sara Thompson of Springfield, Georgia..
He is survived by: his wife Diane Harper Skinner; his sons, Ellis Skinner (Shannon) and J. Ashley Skinner (Ashley Crawley); his grandchildren, Christopher Oliver, Ansley Skinner and Bricelyn Skinner of Springfield; and his brother Eric Green. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to First Baptist Church of Springfield Benevolent Fund, 1435 Hwy. 119 N., Springfield, Georgia 31329.
