She was predeceased by: her daughter Patricia Young; her parents, Willie Lee Parrish and Juanita Toler Parrish; and her brothers, Troy Parrish and Clint Parrish.
She is survived by: her husband Reverend John H. Young, Sr. of Higgston; her children, Pastor John H. Young, Jr. (Lisa) of Higgston and Brenda K. Collins (Chris) of Savannah; and her grandchildren, Hannah Young, Trent Young (Michaela), Brianna Young, Landon Collins (Raelyn), Denna Jackson (Trevor) and Sarah Padgett (C. J.).
